International Aero Interiors, an aircraft interiors company was on life support when new ownership took over. In addition to being unprofitable, the company had a declining reputation within the industry.
Research revealed that the primary need expressed by customers was to get their planes back in the air faster. We were also able to determine that Volant’s team was more knowledgeable than the competition. Our strategy focused on setting a solid direction for making the company profitable. We renamed them Volant, meaning “to take flight” — driven by customers need to get their planes back in the air faster. We also provided the leadership team with a clear and unified vision of the future and developed an approach for consistently applying Volant’s message to all customer communication.
After putting the new strategy in place, Volant’s operations adjusted to respond more quickly and effectively to customer needs. This allowed them to became profitable ahead of schedule, dramatically increasing their value in the eyes of stakeholders. Not only did Volant become the market leader in their category, but their closest competitor is nearly out of business.
“Pivot Lab helped me chart a course to make our brand successful and the course has paid off. The company wasn’t profitable for the past 2 years and now we are profitable. I would highly recommend that any companies looking to secure their place in their market use Pivot Lab.”
